Witch way to the candy?

Hello everyone!  Happy friyay!

Witch way to the candy? Adorable kitty hanging and flying on broom to find candy, isn't it hilarious😻. Created this card using "Newton's Nook Boo-tiful Night" stamp set for Inky paws challenge #131.

First I stamped and colored kitty with watercolor and used metallic watercolor for the broom. Added highlights and 3 D glossy accent on hat and broom.

To create the night sky background, I stamped and heat embossed the stars in white. Then I did some heavy ink blending by drying them with my hearing tool between the layers. Ink colors are given below in the supplies list. I created splatters with white and metallic watercolors. Then stamped few bats to the background to create Halloween night sky look.

For the sliding mechanism, I die cut with the Lawn Fawn slider dies and added cute Newton with circle dimensional. On the flip side added tons of 3d foam dimesional to pop up the background and given enough space to mechanism to work smoothly. Then adhered the panel on to the side folding card base with some liquid glue.

For the full moon used the circle die to cut  the moon and ink blended lightly with black soot. Then adhered the sentiment strip below the moon, added some shimmer and highlight to complete the card.

Supplies used are:

  • Newton's Nook Boo-tiful Night" stamp set
  • Slider and circle dies from lawn fawn
  • Distress oxide inks: Dusty Concord shaded lilac, carved pumpkin and black soot.
  • Ranger embossing powder
  • Versamark and versafine inks
  • Watercolor paints by daler Downey and kuretake
  • Watercolor paper from brustro
  • White and aqua color cardstocks by little birdie
  • Wink of Stella shimmer pen
  • White uniball signo pen
  • Ranger glossy accents and liquid pearls

I hope you like this card as much as I enjoyed creating it:)
