Hello Everyone!
Today sharing a card inspired by watercolors theme at Mudra stamp challenge and Seize the birthday challenge.
Hope you know what happens when you let your inner child to play with watercolors to make a background:) I went crazily happy and has so fun creating many layered forest themed panel using watercolor paints.
For this card I've used Mudra's "5 little monkeys" stamp set and colored them with watercolors. Fussy cut them, added white gel pen highlights, black nuvo drops for the eyes and ranger glossy accent for the flowers.
After that moved onto create my two panels using watercolors in blue green and green by mixing it with silver perfect pearls powder, as it gives beautiful shimmer to the panel. once all dry moved on to die cutting circles and adhered to show little blue sky peeking between the branches. But I was still wanted something more for this card, so using metallic paint in teal, splattered both the panels including front panel of the card base.
Then arranged sweet and naughty monkeys on the panel using 3d foam squares and added the sentiment. Backed this panel with scallop rectangle panel in teal.
Finally adhered whole panel onto A2 card base which I've already prepared by slightly off centered. Finally added few sparkly gum drops to finish it off.
Hope you liked the card and hope it inspires you to create something today!
Thanks for stopping by! Hugs!!
Bhavya
